PEF Seminar

As soon as we got back from our trip we went to the old Clark US Base area to meet with the PEF crew. Daniel had a good presentation he gave from the Bishopric. The picture was taken right before we took off to start packing for our move to La Isla.

Danielito turns 11

On June 25th the last Saturday before we left Utah, we celebrated Daniel III birthday number. eleven.  He is growing to become such a nice and sweet young man like his grandpa. Daniel is named after his grandpa and that is an honor for this young man. For his birthday we got him the Ites book from of the bible stories.  I love the story in the book of Daniel.

June 19th 2016

This was a special Father's day! For the past six years we haven't been in the US to celebrate this special day! I had a dream to someday be in Utah for this day and it came true. I feel so blessed we could attend church to watch the grandchildren sing in sacrament meeting and to made milanesas and empanadas with the kids. Love, love, celebrating together this wonderful day!

Visit to Idaho

We went to Idaho for one day, yes just 24 hours but we did so much! We got there the day before Nixon's last day of Kindergarten. I got the boys their capes. We celebrated Cristi's birthday eating a yummy oreo birthday cake and Daniel got to meet Norah. He had already seen Ruby and Asher. These adorable babies makes us smile each time we see them. Life couldn't get better than this!

Horse Show

When we got back to Utah after driving two thousand miles it was time to relax by going to see a show with Vale and her Russian friend, Katia. That morning we had gone to Huntsville to see Cozanne Mahon who cut my hair so cute and then went to see Hernan and Rachael and Owen at their in-laws. Later that day, we did a few errands and went to see the horse show.  It was worth every penny and luckily, I didn't get too sick. We had seats in different sides of the arena but the ushers put us all together. In some of the best seats you could possibly get.

A visit to Nebraska

Next stop was Nebraska for Daniel to meet Oliver, his mini me. This kid looks so much like Daniel. We spent the weekend with Ani and Spencer and the boys. We went to Church with them on Sunday at their small branch.  And is the primary President and Spencer works with the young men. They are a pillar in that community. They also have moved to a new home that is much nicer and bigger. Christopher is old enough to remember grandpa. Yay!

In Denver

The next day after we got to Utah, we drove to Denver. A ten hour drive. Charlotte was waiting for us and told grandpa how she didn't want to fall sleep until we got home. She was counting up until she got to 102 and that is when we arrived. We were able to spend a couple of days with Pablo, Sydney and family in Denver.

Granpa's bamboo bank

We started our vacation  to the US in Farmington, Utah. We stayed at Andres's and Jami's beautiful new home. The boys got their bamboo banks from grandpa. A Filipino tradition for young boys to save money for their missions.

Pico de Loro directors seminar

From May 30th to June 3rd we had a wonderful retreat at Pico de Loro for all the directors who report to Daniel. The ladies thought about everything to make this meeting so memorable. From games, and dances and food and gifts. It was my first time painting water colors. We even had a ladies meeting discussing crucial conversations. The very last part we went to the temple on Friday and to a devotional by Elder Ardern and lunch.
