Christmas 2017
Our Christmas in 2017 started by going to Denver, Idaho, and Daniel is managing to go to Nebraska, the day after Christmas. We go visit our kids even if is only for a day or two. This is our Christmas most cherished traditions of reading Luke 2 as we dressed up the children as Joseph, Mary, the shepherds, the angel etc.

Charlotte's baptism
We made it to Charlotte's baptism on December 16th 2017. They had to make special arrangements for her to be baptized on a different day than when the stake had it scheduled so we are glad they waited for us since we were coming all the way from the Philippines. Daniel has not missed a baptism of nay of our grandchildren yet.

Trip to Utah October 2017
Our time in Utah was very short but productive. We sold our Mill circle home and purchased our apartment 502 in City Creek. We had our appointees with our doctors: Hansen, Hales, our Dentist etc. Attended General Conference, of course and the meetings afterwards. We got to see some of our friends too, visited with our DTA friends at the annual dinner hosted by Tim Sloan, went to dinner with Maria and Craig Noakes and went out to have dinner with the Allreds and family to our favoriterestaurans but the most sacred and special thing for our family during the visit was to witness the ceiling of Norah to Bianca and Joseph on October 7th 2017.

Denver 2017
July was full of adventures! From Utah to Miami to Uruguay back to Utah and now making our last trip of the Summer to Denver, Colorado.
I love the fact that Daniel does not mind driving long distances. We even squeezed in a quick visit to se his nephew Matias in Idaho.
This became our 4th family reunion with Pablo, Sydney, Vale, Ani, Spencer, Sariah, Charlotte, Graeme, Christopher, Ollie and baby Amelia.

Uruguay, here we come!
We decided to continue our journey down south when we learned that "la abuela Nela" had broken her leg. This was the second time she had a broken bone wishing a three month period so when we got to Uruguay we felt relieved how well she had recovered.
We also were there to attend Nico's and Laura's wedding. Nico had proposed to her in December while we were there visiting and felt it was important to attend if they chose to get married in July and they chose July 15th which was one of the most beautiful days Uruguay has ever seen in Winter. It was 74F and we are so glad we went. This was our family reunion #3
One of the highlight was going to the cemetery to place a plaque on the headstone of Daniel's dad.

Welcome to Miami, Bienvenido a Miami
This year we had decided to take a quick trip to Miami to meet our grandchild #16 who was born on February 9th 2017 to Lexi and Alejandro. There is nothing so amazing like holding a brand new life in your arms. He is so adorable!
We were also excited to learn that Mari, was driving from Orlando to meet up with us too. She was bringing my mom and Vanessa who also happens to be there visiting. We went to a new Frost museum in Miami and to church the next day. The trip was short but so sweet.
The trip including the usual eating out at an Argentine Restaurant and a Sunday dinner after Church.
This became our family reunion #2 We were there from July 7th to July 9th.

Like every Summer, we get to come visit our darling family in Utah. It is always such a joy to be among these most beautiful people inside and out. We love them more than words can ever express. I even got to attend a wonderful inspirational young women devotional by Bianca. I wish all of you would have been there.
We also managed to take the grandkids to the Children's museum, The Zoo, This is the Place park and at the movies.
We got to see our Dermatologist and our Dentist as well and took care of business with regards to the home in Mill Circle and Lehi as always.

We ate out a lot to our favorite joints like Hires, Cetebello, Madoxx, The Cheesecake Factory, Kneeders, Madarin, Cafe Rio, Ruth's Diner etc. and even tried a new restaurants However no restaurant can ever beat Daniel's BBQ and Jami's corn bread. This time we kicked of our visit as we celebrated the 4th of July watching the annual parade, and even got to go to one of my favorite plays; The Joseph Technicolor Dreamcoat Play at the HaleTheater. Yay!
