Making a stop in Denver

Our stop in Denver was short but sweet. 

Daniel gave Graeme his bamboo bank. A tradition in the Philippines so children start to save their money for their mission. Went to breakfast and drove ten hours to Salt Lake. 

Nebraska 2018

 We drove two hours from Utah and stayed at a Little America on our way to Nebraska.

While we were there, Gabriel and Michael  were blessed by Spencer. Daniel was there to be in the circle and some of Ani's and Spencer's friends from Church.

 It was a beautiful day and later in the afternoon by after dinner, we drove to Denver.

Houston 2018

Our next stop was in Houston. We took a flight from Los Angeles to Houston and back to Salat Lake. Vale also came and together we explored a museum in Houston.

Oceanside 2018

Jami and Andres planned this wonderful family reunion, the first of its kind. Photo taken on July 19, 2018. The setting was beautiful Oceanside, CA in a large home that had enough beds for our group. My favorite part was waking  up early to go for a nice walk on the beach. One time we even saw Elder Whitney Clayton and his wife who were staying at a friend's house. The people who were able to come this time around were: Jami, Andy and family. Pablo, Sydney and family. Bianca, Joseph and the girls, Vale and us. While we were there we went out to eat at various eating establishments and one in particular was a favorite because the make the best empanadas in San Diego of all places.

Idaho 2018

There were many highlights this year on our home leave that started with a trip to Idaho to attend Nixon's baptism and while we were there we also got sealed to my parents. Mama Gloria to Manuel Flores and Liz, Mari and me to them. The family reunion consisted of Cristi, Brooks, Nixon, Beckett, Asher, Norah, Ruby, Bianca and Joseph, Mandy and Spencer, my mom, Mari, Manu, Liz, Paola, Vale, Daniel and yours truly. We were quite the group!

That Saturday, July 14th 2018 is a day we will never forget. We had been spending the week in Mc Call Idaho courtesy of Evelyn and Kelly Dame. We were thinking of doing the sealing on Friday but its a good think we didn't because it was hard getting everything cleaned and ready to come back home.  In Mc Call we celebrated Manu's birthday. We waited for Saturday after Nixon's baptism. Cristi gave a talk. Daniel and Kelly were the two witnesses. All went so well. We went for pizza after the baptism and to buy a few sunglasses at Proofs eyewear. Daniel got in town on  Friday just before the baptism and it was a good thing that Vale drove.
