Granpa's bamboo bank

We started our vacation  to the US in Farmington, Utah. We stayed at Andres's and Jami's beautiful new home. The boys got their bamboo banks from grandpa. A Filipino tradition for young boys to save money for their missions.

Pico de Loro directors seminar

From May 30th to June 3rd we had a wonderful retreat at Pico de Loro for all the directors who report to Daniel. The ladies thought about everything to make this meeting so memorable. From games, and dances and food and gifts. It was my first time painting water colors. We even had a ladies meeting discussing crucial conversations. The very last part we went to the temple on Friday and to a devotional by Elder Ardern and lunch.

Farewell luncheon

Today I invited the two ladies Silvia and I go visiting teaching to say good bye to Jeana Hill and to celebrate Caroline Taylor's birthday. She was the Bishop's wife too. This is a bitter sweet day for her so it was a good thing we got to spend some time together. The manu included soup, bread, pupusas, empanadas, spring rolls, fruit, lime pie. I also made a fruit drink.

Mother's day in Orlando

I love Mother's day this year because I was able to spend it with three amazing mothers. My mom, Liz and Mari. We had a nice time at a church event on Saturday and a sweet day on Sunday. We also went to see tia Norma who had surgery. I was in Orlando from May 7th to May 11 because I wanted to be there on May 10th when we celebrate this special day in El salvador and had the best food too!
