Easter week 2018

I came to Idaho to spend time with Cristi and family. They had just returned from a trip to Italy. What I love about Cristi is that she does so many wonderful activities with the kids and they are learning so much about the gospel at home the way it should be. Cristi goes all out when it comes to be creative. In this photo we are commemorating the last supper. She had a video we watched as well. We have done something special every day during this Easter week to commemorate Christ and his mission. This is my last supper as well as I get to go back to Utah tomorrow.

Ever since I moved abroad, I have managed to do a trip in he fall since we have to come for General Conference, and I do one in the Spring because from October to July seems soooooo long of a wait!

Daniel has to stay working but I am allowed to play. Here is a photo taken at a spots bar where we watched a women's soccer game. I didn't care too much for this venue but I do love the company. I do and go anyplace to be with my girls and this trip specifically was meant to see Mandy but don't tell anyone else that.

What a good day to see my dear friend Nuria and her amazing husband Elder Martinez along with Cynthia Lippincott. They are my inspiration to write about the story of her son Eric that is so close to my heart.

My mom was asked to speak.

From March 19 to March 23 I went to Orlando to see my mom. Today was a special day for my mom. She was asked to speak at the Relief Society meeting. She did a wonderful job. She spoke from the heart and expressed gratitude for all the service the Relief Society does for the sisters. We took pictures and got together with tia Norma too. This was my last day in Orlando. I am glad I came to witness this event for women.

visit of Elder Rasband

Today Elder Rasband presided over a devotional at the area office. Daniel was asked to bear his testimony before the Rasband's spoke. This was a surprise to Daniel because he didn't know he had to speak beforehand. Daniel told everyone of his experience when he worked with Elder Dickson who said he would dedicate his life to the Church and that is exactly what Daniel wants to do. Daniel later on went with them to the Greater Manila temple site where this photo was taken. 

Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year is a big Holiday in the Philippines. Everywhere you look you see the color red adorning the city.

Daniel had to work even though it was a Holiday but in the evening we went out to celebrate.

Girls day out!

Finally we got to get together to see a show "The Greatest Showman" Every so often we go out to eat or  do something fun with our sisters we go visiting teaching. We don't always do a lesson but we do talk a lot and that is a lesson in it of itself. At least, is what we think.
