When I told my mother of our trip to Singapore, the first thing she asked was: Did you go see the orchids? Yes, we did! That was probably the highlight of the trip. My mom still remembers the botanical garden from 40 years ago, when she visited Singapore in 1975. Wow, what a sharp memory!
Singapore is a beautiful city and country and we were so lucky to have gone there with the most beautiful people on this planet as well. It is of no coincidence that the cluster meeting was held in Singapore, a city with a vision since it was founded.
Today, they are getting ready for the next 50 years the same way the Church is getting ready as well. We are more than ever picking up the pace and doing all we can to welcome the Savior once again and is of no coincidence that President Nelson is leading the way to prepare His Kingdom for the second coming. Yes, we are the people who have made the covenants to be of aid on this great effort.
Bottom line, that is what these meetings are all about. To help us understand what is our vision and mission. Those four days from February 24 to February 28th were glorious. Daniel and I were edified, fortified and spiritually nourished. We are more committed to the cause of gathering Israel bringing souls to return to Him like never before!
Con amor,
Vero

We Did It
From the Newsroom: "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presented donations to Caritas Manila, UNICEF Philippines, and The Purple Centers Foundation in the amount of Php 811,810.00 (USD 15,611.72) with a total of 3,327 transactions.
We want to thank all who generously contributed and who followed the example of Jesus to #GiveAsHeGave. All the money was raised through Church-sponsored “giving machines” during its “Light the World” holiday service campaign in SM Megamall on November 23 to December 31, 2018."

Circle of sisters
what a delightful gathering of sisters tasting delicious food and even better conversation. There is such a wonderful feeling of trust and love within this circle of women. Each month when I am available to attend the monthly traveling lunch, I come out feeling better as a person. This photo was taken at the Rockwell's Dean and Deluca's.

Quezon City
Every Sunday we attend a different ward to see how the chapels are cared for and assess the needs as well. Today we went to a ward where they are needing an elevator and parking space but the question is where? Every single inch in that neighborhood is filled up.

Once is not enough
If you have been to Tagaytay once, you need to re visit it again and again. The hike to the Tall volcano is worth it and the view breathtaking!
Many retired Filipinos are making their home there because of its cooler whether and friendly hospitality.
we love taking people who are visiting the Philippines on a Saturday to eat at the Tall Vista Hotel for lunch during their dance show.

The camp site
I remember when Daniel purchased the camp site for both The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and now he is getting one for the Philippines and it's beautiful with fruit trees and more like a resort!
